RENTAL
The Moulin de Croix-Val is an old mill, completely restored, across from
the house of 16th-century romantic poet Pierre de Ronsard in the Loir
Valley (see location notes below). Fully equipped with washing machine,
dishwasher, central heating, television, CD player. Organic garden.
Guests also have open access to our newly remodeled
swimming pool which is independent from the house.
The mill, which is by a stream, is on three levels:
GROUND FLOOR
- Living room on a waterfall (with a convertible sofa)
- Large open kitchen/dining room. Windows on both sides of the room.
- Lovely bedroom with old beams and a double bed
TOP FLOOR
- Very large room with central fireplace (with two convertible sofas)
- Bedroom with a double bed
- Bedroom for one person
- Modern bathroom
GARDEN LEVEL
- Very pleasant bedroom with two beds
- Bathroom (shower)
- Large recreation room
FEATURES
The house has a large garden and an orchard. There is a barn with table
and chairs for hot days. There is also a large canopy tent for sitting
outdoors in the summer, and a barbecue. A gardener comes once a week to
tend the garden. 
LOCATION
The Moulin de Croix-Val is located 200 km southwest of Paris (mentioned
on Michelin map 64), in the heart of the Loir Valley region, 40 minutes
north of Tours, 25 minutes from Vendome. It is now 42 minutes from Paris
via the TGV (high-speed train). Village at 4 km and open-air market every
Wednesday and Sunday in Montoire-sur-le-Loir, 10 km away. The mill is
near many Roman chapels, private gardens open to the public, troglodyte
villages.

RATES
High season (June 15-September 15): 5,000FF per week
Low season: 4,500FF per week
Note: This rate is for up to 4 adults. Above that, the rate is 1,250FF/person
per week
Special rate for stays over two weeks
Rates include utilities (except phone) + linens. We also charge a 350FF
cleaning fee.
