"Figures" Starting September 21, Radio France, the French equivalent to the BBC, introduces eight consecutive weekends of concerts. Each weekend offers six to eight concerts, all of them free. Maisons Closes. The Musée de l'Erotisme, the only cultural institution to be open until 2am each day, presents a remarkable exhibition on brothels from the 19th century to the 1960's. Amici Miei This small place which makes no effort in its decor serves the best pizza in Paris. The pizzaiolo is super and everything is wonderful. Jenny Holzer The provocative American artist who likes to play with words, has taken over the Chapelle Saint Louis de la Salptrire and other monuments around Paris. She projects in light her aphorisms in 36 meter high letters. It is bothe poetic and violent. |

Royal de Luxe This is probably the most wonderful show you'll see this year. Royal de Luxe is an actor's troupe based in Nantes but which has been working for years at a time in foreign countries. It is something that incorporates theater, circus and mimes. After touring Africa, it is now has a five year project in China. The troupe is presenting its show in La Villette. It's free.
