Lina's.
It is a chain but its sandwiches are the
best in the city. You choose what you want and the choice is limitless.
It is a great relief from the depressing "jambon-beurre" (ham
and butter). One of the best Lina's is the one in the fashion district,
near the Place des Victoires. You'll be eating with reporters from Le Figaro,
designers and bankers. 50, rue Etienne Marcel. 2nd. Tel: 01 42 21 16 14. Open daily 9am-7pm, except Sun. Metro: Etienne Marcel. |
Ladurée.
This patisserie/tea salon prepares each day 18 different
sorts of sandwiches, on soft bread (pain de mie). Wrapped in paper, the
sandwiches are so fresh they melt. Lina by Lina's.
The short version of Lina's. The sandwiches are very fresh,
but already prepared. You can choose from delicious pastries and yogurts,
six different kinds of coffee and Starck's selection oforganic products.
