| Bon
Of course, Philippe Starck had to try food after having tried everything else (and succeeded). Last time I was in this most amazing place co-owned by restaurant guru Laurent Taieb, Nicole Kidman was there which helped digest the food which is not the most memorable. But you go there for the design which is unique. 700 square meters divided into different themes: a fake rhino head and you feel you are in the house of an old safari hunter; then you are transported into the garden; silver chandeliers, red velvet and mahogony: everything in this place which is divided into five different decors is unique "du jamais vu". This former tropical greenhouse was the perfect stage for Starck. Everything is organic, there is also a vegeterian menu. The soft boiled egg arrives with a mink hat on its head to stay warm (fake fur, of course). 25, rue de la Pompe. 16th. Tel: 01 40 72 70 00. Metro: Muette. |

The best "fusion food"
in Europe. Of course, the chef is none other than the only six star in
the history of French cuisine: Alain Ducasse. The decor is also very design.
