share a table with perfect strangers (but you don't need to talk to them,
and it is OK to read your newspaper), but the breakfast is superb. You have
the choice between many different formulas, but the bread, homemade, is
delicious, and the jams are from another planet. You can have eggs or simply
a croissant and many things in between. There are several Pain Quotidien
(daily bread) in the city and all are excellent. We like the one on the
place du Marché Saint Honoré and the one in the Marais. Both
